Sixth Form
Woodlawn Sixth Form Uniform & Dress Code Policy
Our Sixth Form dress code is designed to allow young people to engage successfully in their learning as well as in work placements and in the community-based learning opportunities daily.
Dress Code Expectations
General Appearance

Clothing should be clean, tidy, and appropriate for representing our school in the community.

Ripped clothing and clothing with inappropriate slogans/images will not be worn in Sixth Form.
Hair and Grooming

Hairstyles should be neat and presentable.

Unnatural hair colours (e.g., bright blue, green, pink, etc.) are not allowed.
Jewellery and Accessories

Jewellery should be discreet and minimal.

Large or dangling earrings, facial piercings and oversized rings or bracelets are not allowed.

Any accessories must not pose a safety hazard during practical lessons or activities.
Footwear

Open-toed shoes, flip-flops, or excessively high heels are not allowed.
Makeup

Makeup should be subtle and natural-looking, excessive makeup, including heavy contouring, brightly coloured eyeshadow, or bold lipstick, is not appropriate for the Sixth Form environment.
