I joined the Governing body at Woodlawn in summer 2024 and have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this fantastic school. I have found it inspirational to visit the school and see the wonderful staff and students in action and can't wait to visit more in the future.  I currently work as a reception teacher at Abbeyfields First School in Morpeth and have previously taught Year One at Morpeth First School. My degree is in Aeronautical Engineering which I decided not to pursue in favour of teaching after getting such enjoyment from volunteering in a school during the COVID pandemic.  On a personal level, I love the outdoors. I enjoy walking, camping and spending time with my partner Katy and her two daughters Georgia and Jessica.
